Main Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be part of a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals responsible for innovating and generating the best in class of antibody drug conjugates for various therapeutic areas. We are seeking a highly motivated conjugation scientist with a preferred background in drug discovery. Exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to multi-disciplinary drug development.
Conjugation, purification and characterization of precursors for radio-conjugates (RC) and ADC using multiple validated methodologies
Development and optimization of novel conjugation methodologies to improve RC and ADC properties
Radiolabeling of RC for in vitro and biodistribution evaluations
Collaborate and work with a diverse group of scientists across multiple therapeutic areas, chemistry, and process development to ensure timely progress in research projects and drive technological innovations
Partner with colleagues on laboratory maintenance, including maintenance of equipment and lab safety.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals Sciences, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other relevant scientific field with 3+ years (BS degree) or 0-1 years (MS degree) of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience and knowledge of protein purification using HIC, IEX, SEC and affinity chromatography. Experience with GE AKTA FPLC preferred.
Working knowledge of characterization using analytical techniques like Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC)-HPLC, Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS), Ion-Exchange (IEX), Reversed Phase (RP)-HPLC, etc.
Proven ability to work independently, effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet project deadlines
Demonstrated experience in optimizing/troubleshooting protocols with a problem-solving mindset and maintains a detailed laboratory notebook
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated hands-on experience in the generation of RC and ADC.
Experience with radiochemistry and related assays.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective presentation of complex scientific data to cross-functional and senior management.
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $87,200 - $130,800. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
