JR52203 Senior Software Engineer - IT Supply Chain

 Primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Participate and perform the following role in Micron, related to end-to-end business processes using RapidResponse platform:

  • Good knowledge on core RR authoring and analytics.
  • Refine and review Technical changes on RR tool
  • Write the test cases, unit testing and capturing test results and document them
  • Support UAT and Hypercare
  • Follow agile practices in your project delivery
  • Adhere to best coding practices (authoring notes and comments)
  • Support hiring, training and mentoring of new team members
  • Upskill on latest changes coming up on RR tool in terms of authoring and analytics
  • Basic domain knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory planning and Capacity Planning with constraints and yields is good to have for this role.
  • System integration knowledge to connect with other enterprise or stand-alone systems (interfaces, connections, imports, exports)
  • Coordinate with the Micron Operations Support teams as needed, to resolve user issues.
  • RR tool knowledge on resources like workbooks, Automation Tasks, Forms and Scripts, Dashboards and Widgets.
  • RR analytical knowledge (Netting, CTP, FLP etc.,) and the knowledge of Attribute Based Planning in RR.
  • Good Programming skills with adequate knowledge on PL/SQL programming and Java

 Qualifications:

5-6 years in a Business or equivalent IT functional role, preferably in Supply Chain Sales & Operations or Business Planning (S&OP).

2-3 years using Kinaxis RapidResponse, namely in Authoring, Analytics, and Scripting

Experience in a manufacturing company, with a preference to the high-tech or semiconductor industry.

Experience working with Cloud/SaaS applications.

Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including business requirements definition/process/design, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user testing, user training, and eventual deployment (software release).

Understanding of how to perform software system modifications whether break/fix, enhancements, or implementation of new functionality.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology and practices, preferably in a software release planning & execution environment.

Ability to perform in-depth systems design reviews and provide refined functional and/or technical specifications for modification work, resolve break/fix issues, system enhancements, or new (functional) implementations.

Effective interpersonal skills to maintain productive relationships with business leaders and users/staff who use the RapidResponse system.

Capability to operate in a fast-paced and complex industry.

Strong presentation and communication skills - oral and written.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
