We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Operator to support daily operations within our extractor plant and production facility. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring the extraction system and PLC-controlled interface, ensuring product specifications are met, maintaining safety standards, and supporting production and warehouse activities as needed.

Employment Type

  • Full-Time, Permanent

  • Afternoon shifts - Monday to Friday 1PM to 9PM

  • Shift work and overtime may be required based on production needs

Key Responsibilities

Extractor Plant Operations

  • Operate and monitor the extractor plant and associated equipment.

  • Use and manage the PLC/computerized control interface to run and adjust the extraction process.

  • Ensure product flow, operating parameters, and product specifications remain within required standards.

  • Troubleshoot minor operational issues and communicate concerns to leadership or maintenance teams.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety procedures and GMP/manufacturing standards.

  • Report safety hazards, operational concerns, and equipment issues promptly.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with plant standards.

Production Support

When extractor operations are stable and running within specification, provide support to other production and warehouse functions including:

  • Pick and pack operations

  • Wrapping pallets for shipment

  • Moving finished goods using a forklift

  • Assisting with receiving and warehouse material handling

  • Supporting shipping and staging finished products for warehouse transfer

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred

  • Experience with PLC/computer-controlled equipment is an asset

  • Forklift certification or experience preferred

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials safely

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Team-oriented with the flexibility to support multiple departments
