Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is recruiting a Research Associate in the Laboratory of Associate Professor Konstadina Griva.
The project will examine barriers and facilitators of update of genetic testing and cascade testing for Familial Hypercholesteremia in local context with view to develop intervention to support uptake of these services in various health clusters. The project is funded by supplementary grant by PRECISE and involved AH, KTPH and NUH. This aligns well with national priorities on preventative health and healthier SG and supports collaborative work between LKC and those clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
Work within specified team in LKC and Health clusters
Data collection (interviews/FGD and co-design workshops) / data analyses and dissemination of findings
Analyze and interpret research findings and results
Literature review
Key Competencies and Requirements:
BSC in social or health sciences
MSC in social or health sciences
Prior work or research experience with qualitative data and data analysis are essential (this may include HT or MSC research (desirable); or prior research work as RA in qualitative project
As data requires data collection in health care settings, full vaccination record is a pre-requisite or applicant has to agree to complete all required vaccination boosters as needed to allow work (data collection) in health care settings
