Bureau.id is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic data team. This role reports directly to the Data Product Manager and is ideal for candidates with 3-6 years of experience in data analysis, visualisation and for the one who love to derive story out of numbers

As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Bureau, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to understand business problems, create impactful visualisations, and contribute to our data pipeline development.

How will your day look like at Bureau?

  • Perform advanced SQL queries to extract and analyse data from various sources

  • Create compelling data visualisations to communicate insights effectively

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines

  • Translate business problems into data-driven solutions and visualisations

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate findings clearly

  • Develop Python scripts for data analysis and automation tasks

  • Stay updated with the latest data technologies and apply them to improve our processes

  • Advanced SQL proficiency

  • Understanding of data pipeline concepts and processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Athena, S3, and Glue

  • Knowledge of DBT, Apache Airflow and Airbyte

  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka

  • Understanding of graph and document databases

  • Skills in data cleanup and database ingestion

  • Solid foundation in database concepts and management
