• Responsible for processing invoices for services rendered by Asian Eye, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This includes verifying billing details, calculating charges, and preparing invoices for submission.
• Collect payments from patients and clients for services rendered, ensuring adherence to billing policies and procedures. Handle cash, checks, and electronic payments with accuracy and professionalism.
• Issue official receipts for all payments received, ensuring that receipts are correctly filled out and recorded in the system.
• Prepare and send Statements of Account (SOA) to Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) and other business entities as needed, ensuring that all relevant information is included and that the SOA is sent in a timely manner.
• Regularly reconcile actual collections with the records in the billing system, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Ensure that all collections are accurately recorded in the billing system, including the correct allocation to patient accounts or other relevant categories.
• Responsible for depositing all cash on hand into the company's bank account, following the company's cash handling procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and concerns from patients and clients regarding billing and payments, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and submit a Daily Collection/Sales Report, detailing all payments received and reconciling them with the total amount collected.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accountancy, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related business course.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in billing, cashier, or accounting-related roles.
• Strong foundation on accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Exposure to any accounting system (Exposure to SAP- ERP is a plus)
• Organized and efficient
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Ability to clearly & cohesively communicate procedures to patients
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented
• Must be willing to travel or be assigned to various locations
