We are currently seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Manager to support this vital department.

Office Manager – Infection Control and Prevention | Full Time, Days

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Office Manager to lead secretarial and clerical operations within the Infection Control department. This role is essential to ensuring smooth administrative workflows and supporting patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily office operations and clerical staff
• Manage departmental communications, records, and reporting
• Oversee Infection Control data entry, chart formatting, and precaution updates
• Maintain filing systems, calendars, and scheduling for departmental activities
• Provide high-level administrative support including correspondence, purchasing, and payroll
• Ensure excellent customer service and confidentiality in all interactions
• Train, evaluate, and manage clerical staff performance

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Criteria 

• Outstanding organizational, problem solving and communication skills necessary to ensure efficiency in attaining the goals of the department.
• At least 5 years senior or administrative secretarial experience including at least 1 year supervising other clerical and/or secretarial staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
• High proficiency level of Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• High School Diploma or GED.

$64,350-$89,000/Annual
