Job Summary

Provide project cost information and project economic benefit analysis to aid management in the decision-making process.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Prepare and review various financial statements, journals, rate case schedules and budget forecasts.

•Plan, perform and lead new and/or complex audits and special projects.

•Coordinate, consolidate, report and prepare analysis of capital budget to aid management in decisions.

Develop performance measures to assist management in business decisions.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•Master/Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 7-9 years related work experience.

•Certification desirable.

•Thorough knowledge of the functions of the accounting organizations such as Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Payroll, Budget, Tax, Plant and Construction Accounting.

•Knowledge of the related accounting systems and budgeting process.

•Must be able to utilize knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, company policies and other information as they apply to the utility industry to provide relevant and reliable reports and information for management inside and outside the accounting organization.

•Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, mainframe applications, and other office equipment.
