What This Role Is All About

As a Business Analytics Associate, you'll be the bridge between raw data and strategic business decisions. You'll work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, extract meaningful insights from our data landscape, and help optimize how we serve our customers and drive growth.

This is where analytics meets business strategy. You'll be analyzing revenue trends, pricing strategies, project profitability, and customer performance—turning numbers into actionable insights that shape how Infobip operates. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with finance, product, and sales teams, develop your analytical skills, and directly influence regional and departmental performance.

What Will You Do

  • Understand report data requirements by consulting with senior analysts and stakeholders.
  • Have an understanding of various data sources within the organization including how the specific data is aggregated and how is it visualized. Extract the needed data using appropriate tools.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the business performance and financial impact of strategic projects, including tracking and analyzing projects, accounts, and suppliers with lower than forecasted margins. This involves assessing overall financial performance, identifying discrepancies from projections, providing insights to optimize project and supplier outcomes
  • Collect and write down all relevant business and general technical information for large customer deals and all supplier deals within designated area of work.
  • Gather information from various resources to broaden internal knowledge, stay updated on product/feature releases.
  • Actively use internal tools to gather information and turn it into insights according to role scope, seniority, and expectations.
  • Proactive analysis of revenue and churn to achieve regional, departmental  OKRs
  • Support approving pricing strategies, business models, special deals, and custom pricing analyses to maximize profitability based on area of work.
  • Supporting simple risk and multiscenario analysis and preparing ROI models in regards to pricing approvals or low level commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with external and internal stakeholders, maintaining efficient communication, sharing practices, and suggesting operational improvements.
  • Proactively promote the profitability management department to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain high-level oversight and understanding of key performance metrics, profitability, and industry trends.
  • Understand and apply internal processes and practices (e.g., pricing, customer lifecycle).
  • Able to follow, understand and apply department and company policies for own scope of work.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work with data, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar data manipulation languages (or eagerness to develop these quickly)
  • Hands-on experience with BI/analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data visualization
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured data analyses
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work confidently with large datasets
  • Background in business analytics, financial analysis, data analytics, or related field
  • Understanding of pricing strategy, revenue analysis, or financial modeling
