Role Overview

This role sits within the Redburn CRM team and reports directly to the Head of US Sales.

The Business Analyst function helps support the New York office with various reporting data challenges. This includes collaborating with internal teams to build out Tableau reports that will highlight areas of strengths and improvements. We are looking for a Strategic thinker who can build custom reports based on requests and inputs from multiple teams. Additionally, the role will require ad hoc reporting to support our client facing teams as well as providing support with day-to-day questions and tasks to help them succeed. This is a role that requires high levels of detail orientation and the ability to split time between projects and ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and thought leadership to the New York office around daily functions such as Salesforce, Tier 1, and Data requests
  • Build and manage reports that are requested by various stakeholders
  • Brainstorm and conceptualize new reporting ideas that can help aid the wider team
  • Manage and elevate Tableau reporting by turning complex data into an easy-to-read and access visual form
  • Consistently improve on current processes to help improve the quality of work and data

Experience and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience
  • Strong experience in Sales Force (preferably Tier 1 Package)
  • Experience in curating ad hoc data analysis requests and balancing that with various project tasks
  • Experience with ETL Tools
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the following:
    • Tableau or similar reporting tools
    • Microsoft Suite (Mainly Excel)
    • SQL Language including creating flows, tables, views. and stored procedures (Preferably MS SQL Server
  • Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously
  • Ability to interact professionally with the full spectrum of stakeholders with the appropriate level of gravitas
  • Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain complex issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Expected base salary rates for this role in our New York Office will be between $80,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, salary offers are determined on an individualized basis and are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and our Rothschild & Co employee benefits package, successful candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
