This is a senior, high-impact global role with scale and visibility. The VP, Global Commercial Lead – HIV will own the end-to-end commercial agenda for one of our HIV assets, designing and delivering an ambitious, evidence-led strategy that protects and grows a global portfolio exceeding £5bn annual sales. You will lead a matrixed Product Commercialisation Team to execute outstanding operational delivery, financial stewardship and a transformational digital-first marketing model that sets the industry standard for mature assets.

Why this role

This asset is a major global HIV medicine — mature, widely used and commercially significant. ·       Leverage CRM, advanced analytics, RWE and AI-enabled tech to personalise engagement, optimise resource allocation and measure meaningful clinical and commercial outcomes.

·       Rapidly pilot, scale and iterate innovative digital solutions to accelerate adoption, influence guidelines and improve patient outcomes.

·       Commercial operations & financial accountability

·       Own P&L, forecasting and performance reporting (in partnership with Finance); drive clear tactical and strategic interventions to meet revenue, margin and return targets.

·       Define pricing, contracting and access strategies with Market Access and Legal to protect sustainability while expanding patient access.

·       Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimise CoGS, secure supply continuity and drive operational efficiencies.

·       People & stakeholder leadership

·       Build, develop and inspire a high-performing global commercial organisation; attract and retain top talent.

·       Represent ViiV externally with credibility and integrity — engaging clinicians, payers, partners and communities.

Deliverables and success measures

·       Deliver agreed revenue, margin and P&L targets and meet or exceed the approved 3‑year sales ambition.

·       Protect or grow market share in priority markets; mitigate competitive erosion through lifecycle initiatives.

·       Use RWE and digital analytics to show measurable improvements in prescribing behaviour, guideline uptake and patient outcomes.

·       Strategic and operational delivery

·       Deliver a clear global strategic plan and prioritized roadmap within the first 100 days; hit defined quarterly milestones thereafter.

·       Improve forecasting accuracy, ensure supply resilience, and meet CoGS optimisation targets while maintaining full compliance.
