Summary
 

ELTP is a technical training program in Columbia, SC where you participate in an initial 5-month paid classroom training. After successful completion of the program, you will join one of our technology areas related to your field of study where you’ll continue to grow your career through mentoring, professional development, and career advancement opportunities.

These positions require a security clearance, which requires US citizenship to obtain.

This training is designed to prepare entry-level project managers to manage and lead IT efforts to implement systems and infrastructure. Training will provide instruction to obtain industry certification (e.g., CAPM -Certified Associate in Project Management), as well as project management methodologies and frameworks used throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • During the training, you will take part in and successfully complete individual and group assignments and projects, including quizzes, tests, homework, and presentations, while gaining industry and company-specific knowledge.

  • You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment which may require action and response 24x7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

  • On-call will be required for some positions.

To Qualify for this Position, You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree obtained prior to May 25, 2025 OR

  • an associate degree obtained prior to May 25, 2025 plus two years of job-related experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under close supervision and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to complete assigned work in a timely manner.

  • Microsoft Office skills.

We Prefer that You Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, other IT job-related field or a business-related degree OR

  • an associate degree in degree in computer science, other IT job-related field or a business-related degree plus two years of job-related experience.

  • Demonstrated initiative in recent extracurricular activities/studies related to technology.

  • Related internship experience.
