JR64390 Revenue Operations Analyst

As a Revenue Operations Analyst at Micron Technology, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the intra-quarter sales revenue forecasts and supply priorities to implement the company-wide financial strategy. You will work closely with key partners, including executive leadership, in sales, supply chain, business units, and finance to obtain alignment in support of the execution of the Sales and Flash Plan.

Responsibilities and Ownership

  • Ownership of the Sales Plan maintenance and management of a specific Business Unit (BU) for the 0–3-month horizon.
  • Develop the Flash Report (official revenue projection for the company) inputs for your BU along with the associated risks and opportunities and proposals to craft the revenue projections.
  • Run weekly BU revenue alignment meetings and report the status of business to Sales and BU executives.
  • Project plan attainment based on demand trends and commitments coupled with supply capabilities.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the Plan and lead activities to close these gaps.
  • Measure and maintain operational excellence for sales teams including Key Performance Indicators.
  • Be a trusted advisor to business leaders on strategic guidance and support data-based decision making.
  • Develop and lead a plan to reduce aged/risk inventory.
  • Develop presentation materials to report out the status of the plan and proposals to executive leadership.
  • Provide priorities to Supply Chain to satisfy customer commitments.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Able to receive high level direction from the BU Director and implement the actions needed to meet that direction.
  • Achieve and maintain a high degree of revenue forecast accuracy and integrity of information provided.
  • Assist in the training of new team members.

  • Strong analytical skills. Authority in Excel, pivot tables, macros, etc. …
  • Experience in Sales, forecasting or demand planning or supply chain planning and a tried understanding of the following:
    • Forecasting of demand and its relationship to financial planning
    • Forecasting of demand's integration with supply planning
    • Sales and sales support functions
    • Use of What-if/Statistical models and the ability to recommend/uphold fact-based volume recommendations on key products.
  • Supply and demand with a critical focus on understanding Micron's product lifecycle.
  • End user experience with enterprise planning/forecasting systems

Education

  • Bachelor’s in business and tried experience, Master's in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or data analytics preferred
