Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.   The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.

What you will do:

The Sales Representative has key responsibilities to generate revenue through our collection of used medical devices and the sales of approved reprocessed medical devices. Under the supervision of the Regional Manager, the Sales Representative ensures the continual revenue stream through the execution of sales plans and campaigns, as well as business and product development plans.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Speaks routinely with various healthcare facility staff to review usage, addresses concerns and educate on our program and associated environment and financial benefits.

· Develops specific action plans tailored to customer needs regarding the reprocessing and collections of single use medical devices.

· Builds and maintains strong customer relationships to grow and sustain revenue.

· Fosters key relationships throughout the departments in assigned healthcare facilities to create and respond to new business opportunities with existing customers.

· Participates in, or initiates business reviews using well developed and effective presentation skills to educate and influence customers to a higher participation level.

· Builds upon customer relationships and has a strong understanding of customer business issues and aligns our business solutions with cost savings.

· Conducts quarterly educational in service meetings on new programs, changes, updates or customer concerns with groups of cross departmental healthcare facility staff across 24X7 shifts.

Experience/skills required:

• 2-5 years in an outside sales position (medical related experience preferred).

· A minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience that includes operating room experience.

· Experience in the medical device industry preferred

· Demonstrated ability to build upon customer relationships.

Work Environment:

· Work is performed both within and outside of an office setting and requires travel to and from healthcare facilities.

· Work requires the use of varying levels of personal protective equipment (including, gowns/bunny suits, masks/face shields, gloves, foot protection, and safety glasses.)

· Employee must be able to travel between office, healthcare facilities, and other points.

· Employee must be able to execute written and verbal instructions, review and prepare detailed reports, and process problem solving and decision-making transactions.

· Employee must be able to review written and electronic communications, operate computers, and safely handle contaminated medical devices.

· Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis

· Use of your personal vehicle (drive 80-100 miles/day depending on territory).
