The Role

Cognex is the global leader in machine vision, delivering innovative hardware and software solutions to the world's top manufacturers. We are looking for a skilled Trilingual Technical Trainer (French / Italian / English) to join our team. This role is based in Rueil-Mailmaison (France) and focuses on training delivery, technical expertise, and customer engagement. 

Essential Functions

• Deliver engaging technical training sessions to customers and resellers in French, Italian and English, onsite, online, and at Cognex facilities. 

• Facilitate hands-on lab exercises, providing guidance and feedback to ensure participant success. 

• Customize and deliver presentations and training materials that simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences. 

• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and coordination with clients or facilities. 

• Maintain and manage classroom hardware and software for effective training sessions. 

• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to register students, track progress, and generate completion certificates. 

• Provide input to improve training content, instructional delivery, and course workflows. 

• Contribute to content development, including creating videos and tutorials for self-guided learning. 

• Travel frequently (50% maximum) to customer facilities and regional Cognex offices for onsite training. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong technical background or technical degree preferred. 

• Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft 365 Suite, and basic networking knowledge. 

• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms. 

• Experience managing schedules and travel independently, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. 

• Knowledge of vision systems, cameras, and optics is a plus but not required. 

• Experience with Cognex products (e.g., DataMan, In-Sight, VisionPro) is a bonus but not mandatory. 

Minimum education and work experience required

• Fluency in both French and English is required. 
• Fluency in Italian is highly desirable.
• Ability to relocate to Rueil-Malmaison (France) or nearby.

• 2+ years of experience in technical training or a similar customer-facing technical role.
