This position reports to:
EL Sales Support Manager - Configuration & Quotation__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area, Smart Building and Smart Power Division in Italy. Main stakeholders are Sales Support Team, District Manager, Application Manager and Sales Specialist.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
Qualifications for the role
You have established skills in bid/quotation management or sales support roles, preferably in the electrical/electrification sector
You are qualified in the technical and commercial evaluation of products and solutions, with understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics in the electrification sector, and margin optimization capabilities
You are comfortable with digital tools for offer management and cost analysis (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM, or equivalent platforms)
You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers
You are able to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment, collaborating with various business functions
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; technical diplomas such as Electrical or Industrial Technician qualifications are also considered positively
Conversational level of English is considered a plus
Compensation Package

Minimum annual salary: € 33.000
Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
