Position: Senior Data Analyst

Duties: Analyze and interpret information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develop and direct one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develop tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assume duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Model compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Must have experience with: designing, developing and implementing new dashboards and reports (both real time interactive and static dashboards); building advanced analytical models to enhance risk spotting capabilities; maintaining dashboards based on business requirement changes; automating analytics and model updates using programming languages and visualization tools; Evaluating case details to drive analytics and prioritize training on the investigator to understand and represent the analytics output; building platforms to identify emerging risks and designing/developing/implementing new IROCC programs/solutions to appropriately respond to these issues; identifying, elevating, & communicating any legal, regulatory and enterprise risks discovered when reviewing new allegations or issues, conducting exploratory analysis (scoping) or reporting findings; supporting team with all technical Questions on Analytics tools and in-house DBs (PowerBI, Tableau, GCP, DB2, SQL Server, and Sharepoint); developing complex SQL queries capable of aggregating data from multiple tables and performing operations; and Driving complex data and trend analyses to root cause issues and proposing process improvements.
