Join Swift's Central planning and Coordination (CPC) where you will be responsible for managing IT changes that are deployed in the Swift live environments (which include both Production and Enterprise).

The Senior Change Planning Coordinator-IT is a key role within Production Operations division. It is high visibility and comes with an opportunity to interact and collaborate with a wide range of internal Swift teams. As part of the team, you will drive the oversight and governance of the change process, supporting other teams on change planning and advising on dependencies on their changes. You will lead various change planning meetings including the CAB (Change Advisory Board) on a rotational basis within the CPC team. You will prepare and seek the necessary approvals for any DN provisioning request and maintenance windows. You will provide occasional project support to facilitate the scheduling of activities needed to complete the project. You will support the deployment process by provide oversight, governance and follow up on any open action items for an assigned domain.

To be successful in this role, strong collaboration and communication within the team and with the other Swift business units throughout the organization is needed to ensure a smooth and effective delivery of technology solutions. You will develop technical insight to understand the deployments and change on a high level and understand the processes to ensure activities and deployments/changes are in line with the agreed processes and regulations.

What you will do:

  • The Senior Change Planning Coordinator will host and participate in meetings with various teams and management and will work closely with the teams to facilitate planning.
  • Responsible for planning, coordination, support, and communication of change control in the Production and Enterprise environment
  • Maintain the overall planning documentation for the maintenance windows to satisfy audit controls
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on a recurring basis to anticipate and raise awareness on deployment demand and provide forecasts
  • Ensures that issues and risks are identified, understood, and are managed by delivery and operational teams with the goal to mitigate risk where possible
  • Manage approval process for higher risk changes, and make sure administration around this process is accurate
  • Prepare specific provisioning requests and progress them to implementation
  • Prepare and plan service continuity changes to support operational teams
  • Host deployment process compliance meetings and follow up on open action items seeing them to closure.

Education

University degree in IT / Engineering

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $90,580.00 - 168,220.00 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
