Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Tooling design, Assembly processing planning & execution, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, etc. and requires the coordination of all related party.
• Ensuring optimum utilization of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas such as lineside, storage areas, etc.,
• Coordinating the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality parts.
• May also be responsible for the acquisition of new product and maintaining for a facility; disposition of surplus machines; investigation and negotiation of contracts.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to planning and execute new process, tooling and technology for build machine.
• Implement engineering change notice, assess whether the capacity of the area is met initiate and implement all changes. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of changes to ensure the smooth production.
• Response for improvement project in terms of process safety, quality, velocity and cost.

Basic Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• At least 4-5 years work experiences in manufacturing process.
• Background of manufacturing environment and CAD software.
• Knowledge of assembly and/or fabrication manufacturing procedures.
• Good command of both spoken and written in English.
• Good project management skill.
• Experienced in automobile or heavy machine industry would be an advantage.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Strong fundamentals in manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of the planning system, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods and tooling required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures, planning processes, work standards relative to manufacturing and inspection.
• Strong collaborative, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Pro-active thinking and good attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills are essential to develop a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the organization.
• Able to read drawing, understand GD&T.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, PPAP APQP, Six Sigma.
• Computer program skilled require: Eg. MS Office, CAD software, AutoCAD, Inventor, Teamcenter will be an advantage.

Full Time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 am. – 04:30 pm.

Work location: Caterpillar (Thailand) Ltd. WHA Industrial Land, T.Nonglalok, A.Bankhai, Rayong.
