A Day in the Life

Our Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) people are supporting our customers beyond products and devices to create more value for patients. Integrated Health Solutions builds on Medtronic‘s combination on process optimization expertise, therapy knowledge and capital resources. IHS currently partners with hospitals and clinics, offering solutions that help care providers optimize costs and outcomes while driving higher value and patient satisfaction.

As Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consultant, you will connect with client hospitals, understand and analyze their most pressing business challenges and deliver high value services which improve their quality, productivity, and patient- and staff experience. You will work – with your team - on projects across our partnerships to deliver quality and improve healthcare. This is a role focused on working in Greece (across various hospital clients) with a willingness to travel within Greece and occasionally within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). It is possible to work alternately on-site and remotely, depending on the consulting assignments.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Have a passion for helping leading hospital customers improve healthcare and build our consulting practice
  • Manage complex stakeholder fields at multiple levels, both client and Medtronic, through the development of well-articulated situational analyses and business cases for change.
  • Lead partnerships with our clients: drive the strategic agenda, project calendar, and quality of our projects, from analysis to implementation. You will be hands-on and make a difference by also driving content.
  • Actively help build and inspire our team and develop the skills of your team, supporting people's growth.
  • Drive commercial opportunities
  • Be an ambassador for IHS in our organisation: capture learnings and best practices to continuously help its international network of clients, actively share and communicate identified best practices with clients and within the team.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Relevant Master's degree with excellent academic and extracurricular performance
  • Several years of relevant consulting experience, e.g. strategy consulting in a top-tier firm, Big 4, healthcare consulting or 10+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge or experience in the healthcare industry
  • Fluency in English and Greek required, other languages - French - a plus
  • Proven track record in driving end-to-end transformation: from analysis to implementation
  • Program management: planning & coordinating, communicating & influencing, building relationships, achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks, driving agenda
  • Thorough understanding of the healthcare system and its dynamics
