Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy will own one or more areas related to expansion and growth strategy for Transportation initiatives. In this role you will become an expert in your area, develop scalable frameworks to identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth opportunities, and manage cross team / cross functional execution of priority growth programs. You will seek to strengthen the overall Transportation network and drive Revenue Growth/Cost Savings while ensuring a positive customer experience. You will support your strategic recommendations with strong business cases and track success of your initiatives against KPI targets.

You’ll make an impact by:  

  • Managing and executing entire projects from start to finish, including cross-functional project management, data collection and manipulation, analysis and modeling, and the communication of insights and recommendations. 

  • Developing strong relationships with Walmart functional areas to identify best practices, solicit input/data, coordinate interdisciplinary initiatives, and gather support for recommendations. 

  • Identifying areas of opportunity and influence execution of results via cross-functional participation to enable quick wins and continuous improvement. 

  • Obtaining alignment from relevant business partners and management support for projects and lead discussions to drive change. 

  • Effectively organize, assemble, and use all available resources when given a project to ensure success.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
