About the Role
We are looking for a Song Account Lead (L5) to oversee and grow our Financial Services client portfolio in New Zealand.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for:
• Driving growth by deepening client relationships and expanding Accenture Song’s impact across banking, insurance, and broader financial services.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, shaping client strategies in customer experience, marketing transformation, and digital innovation.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver experience-led transformation programs that create measurable business outcomes.
• Representing Song within Accenture and partnering with our Strategy, Technology, and Operations colleagues to bring the best of Accenture to our clients.
The role is suited to a strategic, client-centric leader with proven experience in digital transformation, customer experience, and account growth at scale.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead Accenture Song’s Financial Services account portfolio in New Zealand, with accountability for growth, client satisfaction, and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across retail, business, wealth, and institutional banking, as well as insurance.
• Shape and oversee delivery of end-to-end experience transformation programs spanning design, marketing, commerce, technology, and content.
• Originate and drive new opportunities by identifying client needs, developing go-to-market propositions, and managing complex sales pursuits.
• Collaborate across Accenture’s ecosystem (Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, and global alliances) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide thought leadership in customer experience, digital marketing, and emerging technologies to influence client agendas.
• Lead, inspire, and grow cross-functional Song teams in New Zealand, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and innovative culture.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years’ experience in client leadership, account management, or business development within a management consulting, digital, or creative services environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale accounts and multidisciplinary teams at senior (C-suite) level.
• Deep understanding of Financial Services in New Zealand, ideally spanning banking (retail, commercial, wealth, institutional) and/or insurance.
• Proven track record in digital transformation, customer experience design, marketing innovation, and growth strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Passion for driving client growth, shaping strategy, and delivering impactful customer experiences.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, digital, or related fields.
