PVM, Inc is actively seeking an experienced, FSR Engineer with a Pre-existing account with IRS (Tier 2/MBI or higher). You will collaborate in developing and deploying technical solutions that address our customers' most challenging problems. Utilizing our platform, you’ll integrate data, generate actionable insights, and create top-tier applications that drive operational decisions. By leveraging an array of tools—including core company products, open-source technologies like GHE, and custom-built solutions—you will make a tangible impact. In this role, you will work with customers worldwide, gaining unparalleled exposure to some of the globe’s most critical industries and institutions. Each project brings unique challenges, whether it’s navigating complex regulatory environments, managing diverse data sets, or adapting to varied user populations. Your focus will be on adapting to all environmental factors to deliver impactful technical outcomes for our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Setup transfers of data feeds from source systems into location accessible to Foundry
  • Debug issues related to delayed or missing data feeds
  • Write transformations and derive new datasets using Spark for distributed computation
  • Monitor build progress and debug build problems
  • Using Foundry’s application development framework to design applications that address operational questions
  • Rapid development and iteration cycles with SME’s including testing and troubleshooting application issues
  • Executing requests for information (RFI’s) surrounding the platform’s data footprint
  • Participate in the engineering team's on-call rotations for time-sensitive technical support commitments
  • Triage and troubleshoot customer support inquiries over email, through ticket-based software support desk systems, and via direct interaction, all informed via your own mastery of our product platform

 

Requirements:

  • Pre-existing account with IRS (Tier 2/MBI or higher)
  • This position could potentially require a government clearance up to TS/SCI for future efforts.

 

Education and experience:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Strong engineering background, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.

 

Tools:

  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
