What You Will Do

  • Boundless is looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
  • Accountant responsibilities include the verification of the accuracy of bills and tracking of billing due dates, while maintaining an accurate set of financial records. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience preparing prepaid expense accrual entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage end-to-end US and PH accounts payable process for vendors and employee reimbursements, including invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment disbursement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation to adhere to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, and prepare month-end and year-end reconciliations and reports for management review.
  • Develop and implement procedures to streamline the accounts payable process and improve efficiency.
  • (PH Specific) Prepare BIR 2307 for all bills subject to EWT for submission to suppliers.
  • Process bank payments and prepare deposit slips.
  • Manual bookkeeping and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Who You Are

  • 3 - 4 years of work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with AP and withholding taxes
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • BSc in Accountancy or Management Accounting
  • Experience in ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus but not required
  • Certification (CPA, CMA, CTT) is a plus but not required
