About the role:
CHANEL is looking for a Specialist to join our Supply Planning Team in Piscataway, NJ. You will assist and support a key part of our dynamic fragrance and beauty catalogs. This role interfaces with many vital cross-functional partners across the business and is a strategic partner for maintaining balanced inventory levels to support the needs of our business while enabling brand growth. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a passion for data analysis, collaboration, and challenging the status quo.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Owner of the supply planning Fragrance and Beauty retail and promotional SKU forecast with a strategic focus on the visual merchandising categories, while delivering on multiple key performance indicators such as On Time Newness Launch, On Time In Full and Days of Supply; including base business and newness
Overall procurement management responsibilities including order submission, tracking, monthly review meetings, understanding and communicating supply constraints and providing analysis to support decision making with key stakeholders
Liaise with Merchandise Planning, Retail and Store Environment, and Marketing to ensure promotional tracker reflects latest information used for budget updating, ensuring availability of merchandising elements to support our point of sale vision, and ultimately a luxurious experience for our clients
Support leader in Excess & Obsolescence review and management across inventory network; identify reduction opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement usage strategies
Collaborate with global partners in Supply Chain and Customer Service to understand inventory availability and manage purchase orders
Manage relationships with Quality and Operations to ensure inventory accuracy and disposition
Continue to shape and improve existing supply planning projects where applicable
Shared accountability for achieving service level, inventory targets and excess & obsolete inventory goals in partnership with merchandise planners

What you will bring to the team:
Supply Chain / Distribution Mgmt / Planning degree preferred but not required
Out of Box thinking to identify inefficiencies and help shape new process/systems
High proficiency of Microsoft Excel
Data Visualization skills (Storytelling: Tables, Charts, etc)
Experience working within an ERP/MRP environment; SAP experience a plus
Unique industry or insight experience

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,200 through $90,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
