Reporting to the Senior Manager, Foodservice & Convenience, the Senior Regional Foodservice Manager is responsible for selling Irresistible Foods Groups products in the Foodservice and Convenience Channels.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Selling & Execution
- Oversees region consisting of 23-28 states
- Executes go-to-market strategy for our convenience & broadline foodservice channels
- Selling IFG products and promotions to Regional/National Multi-Unit Restaurant Chains
- Selling IFG products and promotions to Regional/National Convenience Store Chains Throughout Region for foodservice and retail applications
- Selling and executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques and superior communication skills
- Manages & updates New Business Pipeline on an on-going basis via sales CRM platform
- Lead broadline distributor partner relationships in assigned territory including but not limited to Sysco, Ben E Keith, Core Mark, McLane etc.
- Gaining distribution of IFG Products in Broadline Foodservice and Convenience Distributors
Planning & Coordination
- Work with Senior Manager on the development and execution annual sales plan for the foodservice & convenience channels
- Forecasting of sales for region on existing and new products in IFG Trade Promotion Management System
- Plan and Manage Trade Fund Spending for Region
- Management of Customer Pricing and Promotional Database
- Monitoring and reporting back competitive activity and/or products
- Partnering with Key Distributors to sell strategic opportunity accounts
- Communicating / Training Distributor Sales Force on IFG Product Features and Benefits
- Oversees the planning and execution of Regional and National Food Shows
Customer / Distributor Management
- Managing and Developing the King’s Hawaiian Foodservice Business & Convenience Store Business in a specified Region
- Traveling within geographical Region to call on Multi-Unit Operators and Distributors
- Managing and Executing Distributor Marketing Programs
- Managing all Region Operator Agreements
- Conducts Annual Business Review with Key Customers
Culinary Partner (Broker) Management
- Responsible for the interview and selection of Culinary Partners (Foodservice Brokers) in the Region
- On-Boarding and training of the Broker Sales Team
- Conducts quarterly Broker Sales Meetings and work withs
- Works with foodservice broker partners to develop sales plans & KPI metrics for success
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 10 Years of Foodservice Sales Experience Preferred
- Proficient in critical thinking and strategy building
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated with demonstration of being a team player
- Ability to strive in a very fast pace environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and communicates across departments
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
- Must have own car with current license, registration and insurance
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
