The Opportunity: 

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service.

This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2-3 (half days) commitment per week during business hours Monday - Saturday (7am - 7pm). The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility.

We are currently hiring for the following clinic locations:

• Etobicoke (3250 Bloor Street West, East Tower)

• York Mills (4120 Yonge Street)

• Markham (600 Cochrane Drive)

What You’ll Do: 

• The provision of clinical massage therapy services

• Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records

• Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication

• Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care

• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists

What You’ll Need: 

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist

• Must be in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario

• Must have appropriate professional liability insurance

• Must possess competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy.

Position Pay Range

$45 - $65/hr

Medcan's Allied Health professionals are independent contractors. Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification. The above range pertains solely to base earnings based on fee split rates and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.​
