Associate Manager - Identity Governance 

 

Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid) 

Shift: [2:00 PM-10:00 PM CET, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM CDT] with flexibility 

Work Environment: ​Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. This role is governance-focused and involves regular collaboration with internal control functions and external auditors. Occasional off-hours support may be required during certification cycles or audit deadlines. You’ll be part of a high-performing, security-driven team that values innovation, delivery excellence, and continuous learning. 

 

Job Summary 

 

​​The Associate Manager - Identity Governance will play a leading role in managing and overseeing identity governance processes across the enterprise. This includes running end-to-end access certification campaigns, responding to audit and compliance requests, and ensuring alignment with corporate controls and governance requirements. The role requires strong expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), including functionality, customization, and reporting capabilities. Acting as the primary liaison with Internal Audit (IA), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Controls, and External Auditors, this position will serve as the face of the identity governance program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable leading governance initiatives while mentoring junior team members.​ This is an individual contributor role.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Access Certification Campaign Management Lead the design, execution, and closure of end-to-end access certification campaigns in SailPoint IIQ. Ensure campaigns meet compliance requirements and are completed on schedule.​  

  • ​​Governance & Audit Engagement Partner with IA, GRC, Controls, and External Auditors to provide governance evidence, respond to audit requests, and address compliance findings. Act as the primary representative of the governance team.​  

  • ​​SailPoint IIQ Governance Administration Leverage SailPoint IIQ for governance functions, including customizing workflows, applying governance policies, and ensuring data integrity in access reviews.​  

  • ​​Reporting & Evidence Creation Develop and deliver reports and evidence packages that demonstrate compliance with internal policies and external regulations.​  

  • Mentorship & Process Improvement Provide guidance to junior governance analysts, standardize processes, and recommend improvements to enhance governance efficiency and audit readiness.​ 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.​  

  • ​​Advanced degree or IAM-related certifications.​  

  • ​​8+ years of experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) with strong exposure to SailPoint IdentityIQ.   

  • ​Hands-on experience leading access certification campaigns and responding to audit or compliance requests.   

  • ​Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO, NIST) and governance best practices.   

  • ​Experience interacting with auditors and compliance stakeholders at senior levels. ​  

  • ​​Experience with SailPoint IIQ customization (rules, workflows, reporting enhancements).   

  • ​Prior experience working with external auditors on SOX or similar compliance programs.  

  • ​Exposure to IAM integrations with Workday, Azure AD, Salesforce, or other enterprise platforms. ​  

  • ​​Certifications in IAM, IT Audit, or GRC (e.g., CISA, CISM, SailPoint Certified).​  

  • ​​Deep understanding of SailPoint IIQ governance features (certifications, policies, reporting).   

  • ​Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in evidence gathering and reporting.   

  • ​Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present governance outcomes clearly.   

  • ​Self-starter with the ability to own processes end-to-end and drive completion.   

  • ​Ability to mentor junior analysts and set governance best practices. ​
