Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) division is hiring an Attachment Strategy and Sales Development Consultant!  

Role Summary: The Attachment Strategy and Sales Development Consultant role is tasked with driving creative strategies and processes to drive sales increases in attachments within North America.  The role serves as a conduit between the BCP attachment commercial team and product teams.  This role will lead critical strategy development, go to market planning, results reporting, and dealer engagements aimed at driving BCP attachment sales growth in North America.  

What You’ll Do (Job Duties) 

  • Analyze attachment growth opportunities to drive substantial growth 

  • Lead and execute attachment business development meetings with dealers 

  • Lead internal communications with the product, field, and marketing teams on sales initiatives 

  • Conduct market, product, and competitive research to identify new sales opportunities  

  • Drive strong data driven communication and accountability using new and existing sources 

  • Closely collaborate with retail, rental, marketing, and attachment product teams, inclusive of inventory planning, commercial planning, and distribution

  • Field/Customer/Dealer Facing Experience: Has worked in field facing or field supporting roles that engage customers directly or through dealer distribution networks.  

  • Data Analysis Skills: Understands data that is available, can pull data together and drive clear insights from various sources while being willing to evolve approach based upon new and existing data sources.  

  • Commercial Offerings and Marketing Communications Understanding: Ability to work with product and marketing teams to drive new offerings, promotions, and materials directed at impacting attachments sales and marketing success.  

Travel is expected and required third of the time, up to 35%.

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
