RVOH is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Relationship Marketing to define and execute the consumer marketing strategy for Optum Now, with a focus on growth and retention. This leadership role will be responsible for accelerating distribution and known-user acquisition, as well as building a robust engagement and retention experience - all in support of building a better experience for consumers navigating their health journeys. 

The Optum Now team is building an industry-leading consumer-first healthcare platform that serves data-driven, digital experiences to enable consumers’ to access the right information, care, products, and services at the right time, bringing differentiated value to the lives of millions of people.

On this team you will work with modern technologies to integrate health information, coaching, marketplace, provider information into a consumer-focused web application that changes how users connect, explore, and interact with health content.

As a pivotal Marketing leader, you will define and execute strategies to scale customer acquisition, leveraging a combination of technical expertise, financial metrics, and audience insights. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data and Editorial, to ensure alignment with our broader Optum Now objectives.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader to shape the next phase of our growth, from how we acquire, engage, and retain members through strategic, data-driven initiatives. 

Reporting to the VP of RVOH Relationship Marketing, this is a highly visible and high priority role.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our New York office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive acquisition strategies to drive growth, focusing on both paid and organic channels. 
  • Work closely with executive teams to align marketing efforts with product, growth, and operational goals.
  • Manage and optimize acquisition funnels, targeting new audience segments, testing, and optimizing campaigns to maximize conversion.  
  • Lead - and continue to grow - a high-impact team of marketers while remaining execution-focused and tactical.
  • Build and optimize automated journeys, ensuring the right message reaches the right person at the right time.
  • Dive deep with prod, eng, and data teams on our data architecture, infrastructure, and integrations between platforms to ensure seamless scalability and accurate reporting.
  • Define annual roadmaps and set functional level goals to measure progress & success 
  • Articulate and evangelize a comprehensive, data-backed strategy that sets aggressive goals, supports business priorities and paints an inspiring picture of growth potential

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing or related functions, within a fast-paced, consumer-facing business. 
  • Expertise across organic and paid digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, partnerships and distribution.
  • 5+ years in a leadership capacity, with experience building and managing high-performing teams as well as leading by influence across multiple organizations. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies that scale across multiple platforms and teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey strategic insights, results, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Extensive experience with acquisition funnels, marketing tech stacks, data pipelines, and A/B testing to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and make data-driven decisions to maximize growth investments.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and reporting in a metrics-driven environment

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $131,350.00 - $170,000.00 plus bonus
