JOB SUMMARY

The Information Security Reporting & Data Analytics Lead is responsible for the oversight and execution of the company’s Information Security function, as it relates to the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of the Information Security metrics and reporting program. This is a critical role for the to lead the development of comprehensive metrics and reporting across the department, as well as providing expertise and support to Senior Leadership on special projects, initiatives, data analysis, visualization, and reporting. The position requires a diverse background to understand a variety of systems, including new technologies and legacy systems considered business critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•             Responsible for overall management, development, and maturity of EIS Business Intelligence (BI) tools

•             Work effectively with leads across the Information Security team to lead the design and development of metric dashboards aligned to security domains against industry frameworks (e.g., NIST)

•             Work with EIS team leads to improve data quality and reporting efficiencies through automation and BI tools

•             Maintain support documentation (e.g., data-flow diagrams, operating procedures, etc.) to ensure completeness and accuracy of metrics and train/enable team on using tools

•             Perform ad-hoc assessments, analysis, and reports as needed to support the team’s needs

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•             Foster and maintain good relationships with business partners and colleagues to meet expected service levels.

•             Research and recommend new tools and technologies to gain efficiencies and enable functionalities.

•             Deliver schedule milestones on-time to ensure project/program objectives are met.

•             Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Preferably in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, MIS or related field.        Required

Master's Degree

Preferably in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, MIS or related field.        Preferred

Experience

3 years or more BI Dashboard development

3 years or more Data base work experience, collecting, organizing, interpreting and presenting simple and advanced analyses, experience with Microsoft office including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and some type of reporting tool           Required

Skills and Abilities

BI tool proficiency

Ability to make meaningful metrics and insights from unstructured data  

Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel and being curious and flexible.      

Strong written and oral communication skills across varying levels of the organization.      

Understanding of service design, delivery concepts and control frameworks.

Organized, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within defined SLAs.

Excellent judgment and the ability to make quick decisions when working with complex situations.

High degree of integrity, trustworthiness and confidence; represents the company and its management team with the highest level of professionalism

Knowledge

Demonstrated project management, multitasking and organizational skills.           

Knowledge of industry accepted risk management frameworks and standards such as the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Privacy Framework, etc. 

Licenses and Certifications

Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) 1 year Preferred

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)    1 year Preferred

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 1 year Preferred
