AIG is seeking a highly motivated individual to directly lead the marketing and creative function for the AIG HVAC business, manage a team that is responsible for marketing of non-HVAC segments of AIG Warranty & Service Programs, as well as play a critical role in co-leading the account management functions working with the Director of Account Management. This is a critical role as AIG holds partnerships with key OEMs, retailers, HVAC distributors/dealers and insuretechs. This role will lead the coordination of all account management functions. This role will report to the VP of HVAC and be a key player in ensuring the business delivers on its growth and profitability goals. This role has high visibility because this person will interface with all areas of the business as well as externally with clients and partners.
This role is responsible for creating and implementing marketing programs to effectively promote AIG Warranty to key external audiences. This role will interface with business leaders inside of AIG Warranty and work directly with the Global Head of Business Development.
In addition to the marketing responsibilities for HVAC, this role will serve as the head of all visual creative content for the AIG WSP segments. This includes leading the creative direction for digital and core collateral, managing internal and external resources, and ensuring brand consistency across all materials. This role will directly manage and lead the graphic designer in delivering creative assets which represent AIG WSP. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality training materials and tools to support the sales team. Working closely with leadership, this role will develop clear and concise interactive resources which outline segment strategies to reach determined goals.
How you will create an impact
Driving account growth through ensuring implementation of growth strategies.
Proposing sales, product, and marketing strategies to target large accounts
Executing campaigns related to new product launches or integrations in collaboration with the HVAC sales team.
Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business with dealers, distributors, and other industry partners.
Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
Create, implement and oversee marketing programs that effectively promote the AIG WSP business and its services to an external audience
Develop meaningful relationships and collaborate with WSP subject matter experts (SMEs) to bolster sales and marketing efforts for the business
Provide marketing and leading tradeshow booth support as needed for external conferences, tradeshows and sponsorship opportunities including negotiation of best pricing for booths and materials.
Manage the execution of a wide variety of marketing tactics, including brochures, flyers, case studies, videos, pricing guides, etc
Develop content for sales presentations
Write copy for thought-leadership pieces on behalf of WSP executives. Collaborate with internal SMEs to gather data, graphics, and other relevant information
Create professional level white paper and presentation materials to support the WSP business with responding to formal bids
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all marketing pieces adhere to corporate brand and style guidelines
Determine workload priorities for marketing and creative design to ensure deadlines and client needs are met
Design compelling presentations, collateral, and interactive user guides which allow the sales team to effectively communicate product value to customers and prospective customers
Ensure all training material is updated to align with current messaging, products, and goals
Oversee the inventory for promotional items and coordinate shipping and receiving for the sales team’s needs for in-person events
What you’ll need to succeed
7 years of marketing and communications experience
Experience managing a team
Experience in or knowledge of the HVAC industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
Stellar project management skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to work as a team member
Advanced computer skills with knowledge of design software a plus
