General Description: Provides direct nursing care as part of a team-based approach to patients needing rapid evaluation and response due to deteriorating or crisis conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years relevant critical care experience required. Preferred five (5) years of experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ACLS (American Heart Association) required upon hire. Preferred CCRN Certification within 1 year.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Computer skills. Skills required to work in critical care area required.
