What you will be doing

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record and understanding of all elements of the PMO service. You will preferably have 6+ years work experience running a PMO service with deep knowledge in project governance & control, project financial management and quality assurance.  We would look favorably on project certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, P30.

This role will provide integrated client-facing performance management reporting for small programs or accounts, or sections of larger programs or accounts.

A key responsibility is also maintaining account management system processes, as assigned, including the training and execution of those processes.

The successful candidate will provide strong governance, be knowledgeable in project management methodology and process, and have an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates governance metrics for small programs or accounts or sections of larger programs or accounts. Assists in coordinating governance meetings and ensures and validates that meetings occur.
  • Creates and maintains assigned account(s) master calendar. Drives the logistics of governance meetings and schedules meetings where appropriate.
  • Reviews and analyzes the use of account processes. Executes the account management and project management processes.
  • Consolidates and analyzes metrics for governance, processes and account reviews; recommends service improvements across the accounts.
  • Perform project lifecycle management.  Initiate projects, monitor and control, and close according to DXC standards
  • Engage in project milestone management and related financial activities around billing, change control and forecasting.
  • Perform basic project financial reviews.  Creating forums for reviews and tracking of project financial issues.
  • Develops account customer satisfaction survey questions and communication plans; analyzes and summarizes results for account improvements.
  • Examines client facing account level reports for accuracy. Recommends adjustments and makes changes as approved by account program management.
  • Reviews project integration processes and reporting for accuracy. Documents, recommends changes or adjustments and applies as appropriate.
  • Develops training materials on processes, tools and reporting for clients and the company.
