Position Summary:
Our ambitious Adobe Analytics team is excited to invite a dedicated and passionate Software Development Engineer to join the Reporting Services team in Lehi, Utah. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with outstanding engineers to develop and test flawless, high-performance, scalable solutions. You will successfully implement solutions handling Big Data for enterprise customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Compose, build, and maintain high-performance scalable solutions for customers processing Big Data.
• Optimize current software to improve performance, functionality, and usability.
• Participate in all aspects of software development, including building, coding, code review, unit-testing, bug fixing, and operations.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement requirements for backend services, components, and interfaces.
• Own development for features of large, highly complex projects and implement architectural and feature specifications to drive customer success through high-quality code delivery.
• Write comprehensive functional specifications and documentation.
• Estimate schedules, breaking tasks down into reasonable 1-3 day segments.
• Write, test, and document well-structured code that scales and performs well for customers globally.
• Identify and recommend outside technologies for system and process improvement.
• Invest time and energy to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 3+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent experience.
• Proven mastery in software development and debugging.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Scala, or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux, Git, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Big Data, streaming technologies, SaaS-based environments, and Web Analytics.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply complex subjects and technologies.
• Diligent and self-motivated with a positive, creative attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Highly collaborative working style.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
