The Claims Strategy Lead Consultant will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic projects to drive transformational change across the Claims organization, with an emphasis on enabling strategic and operational planning. This role works effectively in ambiguous problem space - bringing structure to complex questions, bridging different points of view, and translating data into clear insights and narratives for decision making. Operating as a trusted advisor, the consultant will build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships across all lines of business, interacting directly with Claims Leadership and key partners - including Finance, Technology, and Enterprise Customer Experience to drive clarity and alignment on priorities, scope, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the design and execution of Claims strategic initiatives, roadmaps, and priority programs aligned to enterprise and Claims objectives. 

  • Applies structured problem solving and analytical frameworks to translate ambiguous business questions into clear insights, options, and actionable recommendations. 

  • Solves complex, multi-factor business problems by developing assumptions, building and interpreting models, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs to inform strategy and planning. 

  • Identifies risks, dependencies, and constraints impacting initiatives and proactively recommends mitigation approaches. 

  • Reviews and refines analyses and materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and executive readiness. 

  • Leads cross-functional alignment with Claims Leaders, Finance, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to define objectives, clarify scope and tradeoffs, and ensure shared accountability for outcomes. 

  • Drives decision making by framing options, implications, and recommendations in a clear, concise manner. 

  • Refines deliverables, work products, and approach as priorities or business needs evolve. 

  • Develops and presents executive level  summaries of findings and recommendations for varied audiences, including senior leadership. 

  • Produces high quality presentations, documentation, and materials that communicate takeaways, progress, and outcomes. 

  • Synthesizes complex information into clear narratives that enable confident decisions. 

  • Contributes to the evolution of Claims Strategy, Enablement and Implementation Team’s tools, standards, and ways of working. 

  • Shares best practices, analytical methodologies, and findings to strengthen the broader strategy and planning capability within the team. 

Work Location

  • This position is a remote home-based role but is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico residents.

  • Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States.

  • Some travel is expected for this position. Candidates should be comfortable with travel based on business needs.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, operations, management consulting, strategic business development, or related roles.

  • Experience in insurance, claims, financial services, management consulting, strategic business development or a complex operational environment preferred.

  • No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 90,700.00 - 153,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
