Reporting to the Head of Retail Distribution, we are looking for a Head of Sales Enablement to join our team and lead the charge in developing and driving innovative sales enablement strategies. In this essential position, you will empower our sales team to achieve their objectives and performance targets, using sales performance data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and continuous monitoring of our distribution strategy, ensuring it aligns with our overarching business goals. As the primary representative for Distribution on various committees and initiatives, your ability to communicate and consider Distribution's needs and perspectives will be key.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales enablement strategies to empower the sales team in reaching their objectives and performance targets and analyze sales performance data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for enhancing sales processes and strategies.

  • Support the implementation and continuous monitoring of the distribution strategy, offering recommendations for adjustments as necessary.

  • Act as the primary representative for Distribution in committees and initiatives, ensuring their needs and perspectives are effectively communicated and considered.

  • Support the development and updates of new products by ensuring Distribution’s needs and perspectives are integrated and collaborate with other Business Units, including GWAM, to find opportunities for bringing to bear existing partnerships to drive distribution growth across the Enterprise.

  • Lead and oversee the Insurance Field Readiness program, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure effective readiness for distribution partners, advisors, and the sales team and serve as the key liaison for Distribution in relation to other market segment strategies, focusing on Mass Market and HNW segments.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of a comprehensive firm and advisor segmentation strategy for GIP, Insurance, and Vitality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with deep knowledge of Individual Insurance and Investment products and sales strategies.

  • CFP, CLU, CHFC, CHS designations are an asset.

  • Excellent understanding of Manulife insurance products, concepts, administration, systems, and value proposition.

  • In-depth understanding of the Canadian insurance competitive environment.

  • Strong understanding of distribution and the advisor experience.

  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence effectively throughout the organization.

  • Proficiency in change leadership and implementation skills.

Salary range is expected to be between

$123,400.00 CAD - $229,300.00 CAD
