We are offering a full time position as Controller (m/f/d) in our offices in Heidelberg.

Your role:
Your are responsible for financial reporting, forecasting and results of the reporting unit. The role also includes responsibility as leader or coordinator of system and process implementation and continues improvement projects within the region, as well as a support role of the Regional Finance Director.

This role involves analyzing financial data to assess operational results in terms of profitability and budget performance. Responsibilities include preparing annual and general budgets, generating economic reports for the group’s headquarters, overseeing internal audit controls, compliance standards, supporting external audits and consolidating and reporting regional financials. Additionally, the role also includes project coordination, planning and deeper understanding of both BorgWarner processes and system set up.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or comparable
• 5+ years of controlling and accounting experience
• Where of 2+ years in a production environment
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in other foreign language (Spanish, Chinese etc.) is a valuable asset, but not mandatory
• Project lead experience
