Site Lead – Facilities Management

What this job involves:

As a Site Lead, you'll be the driving force behind seamless facilities management operations at a key client location. This role places you at the center of all site activities, where you'll oversee day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team, and serve as the primary point of contact between JLL and our client. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the facility runs efficiently—from soft services including cleaning, landscaping, and pest control to coordinating with hard services teams to deliver integrated facilities management solutions. You'll manage vendor relationships, oversee budgets, and ensure all services meet JLL quality standards and client specifications while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and tactical execution, balancing client expectations with operational realities while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead and develop the on-site facilities management team including supervisors, coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Serve as the primary liaison between JLL and the client, conducting regular meetings to review performance metrics, address concerns, and identify opportunities for service enhancement
• Manage day-to-day soft services operations including cleaning, landscaping, and pest control, ensuring all services meet JLL quality standards and client specifications
• Oversee systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and general maintenance to ensure optimal facility performance
• Manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring for all service providers, establishing strong relationships while ensuring cost-effective delivery
• Develop and monitor site budgets, analyzing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Coordinate space planning, moves, adds, and changes to support evolving client needs and workplace strategies
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational performance, cost management, maintenance activities, and strategic initiatives for client review and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years of progressive facilities management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or multi-site operations (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of building systems, soft services operations, and industry best practices for commercial facilities

• Proven budget management and vendor negotiation experience
• Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder presentation skills
• Demonstrated team leadership including coaching, training, and performance management
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
• FM certifications (FMP, CFM) preferred
