About the team

The FIS Integration Management Office is a critical team within FIS. The team leads the Integration of all recent M&A integrations, helping to bring recently acquired companies into the broader FIS family of companies. The team works across many phases of the M&A / Integration lifecycle, including serving as a

key thought partner in the Asset Diligence and Purchase Phase, the Post-Purchase Technical Integration Phase, and the Deal Thesis Realization Phase. The team serves as the key thought partner, networking leader, and project manager for ensuring deals are executed and integrated in a smooth, timely manner.

What you will be doing

The broader FIS IMO team consists of three roles/teams – Deal Engagement Managers, Centre of Excellence and Functional Integration Team

Center of Excellence: The team is responsible for developing integration blueprint for success – optimizing current processes, thought partner to drive synergy attainment and reporting on integration progress to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integration playbooks, templates and tools
  • Drive process optimization for critical milestones to help drive seamless integrations
  • Capture and disseminate lessons learned from previous integrations
  • Provide expert guidance and support to integration teams
  • Monitor integration KPIs and suggest improvements
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across integration workstreams
  • Support due diligence activities leveraging best practices to build POV on key integration risks

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably within the financial services sector
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work in order to support concurrent projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
  • Bachelors in a related discipline (economics, finance, management, etc.)

Added bonus if you have:

  • Masters or advanced degree preferred
  • Strategy consulting experience preferred
  • Understanding of or exposure to banking, payments and capital markets domain is a good to have
  • Experience with integration management activities
  • Ability to mentor team members fostering their professional development and growth within the organization
