We are seeking an Analyst to join our London team. This person will report to the Senior Associate (London) and will be responsible for conducting ODD reviews of external investment managers as well as assisting with the coordination and execution of CVM activities for new and ongoing vendors. The newly appointed individual will work alongside the Investment teams, Legal and Compliance teams, Information Technology, as well as other Operational teams within the Firm.
 

This position will be a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office.

What you will do:

  • Perform initial operational due diligence reviews of investment managers, as well as ongoing monitoring; attend ODD calls, interview C-suite level operations personnel
  • Coordinate with investment managers, to verify third party auditor and fund administrator relationships
  • Participate in the collection, review, and organization of background check/ sanctions screening documentation, as advised
  • Provide outreach to vendors for initial and ongoing vendor due diligence, coordinating receipt and review for questionnaires and documentation
  • Follow-up / coordinate with internal teams and/or vendors on the status of vendor reviews and third-party due diligence assessments
  • Assist with coordination and set-up of vendor calls with the CVM, vendor owners, and other teams as needed (IT, Compliance)
  • Encourage a team-orientated atmosphere with positive engagement
  • Assist with other projects as directed
     

What you bring:

  • Understanding of ODD, investment accounting/ audit, compliance, or risk management
  • Working knowledge of private equity investments preferred  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to interact across departments and establish relationships in order to source requisite information and documentary evidence
  • Positive team-oriented demeanor

  • Bachelor’s Degree
