2020 Companies is seeking an immediate full-time seasonal Program Events Manager representing our client, Samsung.
Dates: 9/27/24 – 10/20/24
Hours: Shifts between 8:30 am – 9:30 pm
Days: As needed per event (weekdays, evenings, and weekends)
Pay: $40/hr + Program Conclusion Incentive
Location: Texas State Fair

The Program Events Manager is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about event management. As a manager, you will oversee a team of Product Specialists who demonstrate and promote Samsung Electronics America's cutting-edge devices. Your role will involve creating brand awareness through engaging interactions with prospective customers.
Your Role as a Field Operations Manager is to:
Coach Product Specialist on Samsung products and promotions
Manage time cards, create schedules, and ensure compliance
Ensure the team is exceeding client expectations and applying company policy and procedures
Motivate and drive team to meet or exceed goals
Maintain a high energy and professional attitude at all times
Create a memorable and positive experience for customers and client
Assist in driving sales and customer experience
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication skills and experience in consumer-facing environments (sales, customer service, etc.)
Has a proven record of leading and managing a team with at least 1-year experience.
Always energetic with a big personality and ability to “hype” a group as small as 1, to as large as 100
Interested in one or more areas in technology, social media, gaming, beauty and fashion, music, Health & Wellness
Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers
Flexible and adaptable with a passion for teamwork and innovation
A good understanding of systems - Salesforce, and Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel) are a plus!

Job Description:
Supervise team members
Professionally resolve customer complaints; escalate as appropriate
Accurately submit work schedules to the Manager for approval
Coach team to ensure demo engagements are being executed
Ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures
Accurately track inventory receipt and count as appropriate
Review time sheets for accuracy
Meet or exceed key metrics
Courteously welcome customers, offer assistance, assess needs and suggests products
Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
Perform all other duties as assigned
Performance Measurements:
Achieve posted store activation goal
Meet established monthly/weekly personal sales quota/goals
Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred
Demonstrated long-term excellent sales performance
Proven record of successful management/leadership. 2+ years preferred
Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to work flexible weekends including evenings, weekends and holidays
Able to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
