Northrop Grumman Facilities Business Management is seeking a Budget Analyst (Level 2) in a Business Management functional role to lead budget tracking for facilities costs. The position will be reporting to our offices on a daily basis to be at either our El Segundo, CA or Palmdale, CA locations.

This position will seek to meet the financial goals and objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Functional Business Management for an organization spread across multiple sites: indirect expense planning and monitoring, capital and real estate tracking, time charging and compliance policy guidance, manpower forecasting, support and monitoring of site activities, support of Sector site infrastructure risks/needs, and other activities.

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication skills are very important factors to the successful execution of job responsibilities. Successful candidate will need very strong technical skills with Excel, analytical and organizational skills, and will need to feel confident interfacing with all levels of management (Director, Center Managers, Section Managers, Technical Staff).

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 2 years of related experience in budgeting, finance, accounting, facilities cost management, or similar experience
• Strong Excel skills and other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Solid oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly organized
• Knowledge of SAP/S4 a plus
• Tableau/Database knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on team projects

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
