Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading the management of business and financial plan development, enabling the achievement of strategic objectives of the organization. The role collaborates with business management on various business issues and influences senior management by suggesting recommendations for optimizing business performance. The role manages a team of individual contributors who support complex business plan execution across the organization.

Responsibilities
• Leads efforts to develop business and financial plans that enable the execution of business strategies (e.g., implementing new growth initiatives, reducing costs).
• Leads business planning initiatives, including M&A integration projects at a regional or business unit level.
• Directs and prioritizes important, complex business planning projects by monitoring deliverables and milestones, including developing contingencies to minimize risks and maximize success.
• Partners with business management on a wide range of business issues, including risk management and implementation tactics.
• Manages the development of project guidelines, plans, objectives, and deliverables; handles budgets for multiple complex plans and projects.
• Influences senior management by presenting compelling analysis and recommendations for optimizing business performance.
• Develops and executes innovative strategic plans for building long-term business needs, negotiates with external partners, and monitors industry trends.
• Directs large cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Leads training and development initiatives for the business team and provides a knowledge base for product solutions and support services.
• Provides strong leadership, develops individual and team performance goals, and manages change; ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support team efforts.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.
