What You Will Do:

Health Care Providers (HC Providers) Digital Leader acts as the P/L Leader, subject matter expert, thought leadership advocate and a General Manager for Guidehouse HC Providers Digital Line of Service, responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the practice providing “industry influenced” technology expertise to both internal and external leaders. This leader has a deep knowledge of technology and how it can enhance the business of: Providers and corresponding Public Sector markets.  They use this knowledge to help develop digital and technology solutions for the clients, working with our HC Providers Segment leaders and their client leaders. This person will network with industry leaders, Guidehouse Client Services leaders, current clients, and potential clients to understand and communicate current and future trends. This HC Providers Digital Leader becomes a critical aspect of the sales pursuit process, working with Guidehouse Client Services leadership, Account Delivery Teams and Guidehouse Client Relationship Executives to create presentations and proposal responses demonstrating Guidehouse Digital and Integration Services capabilities and expertise that exceed client needs.

The HC Providers Digital Partner will be part of a broad digital line of service with a purpose of empowering our HC Providers Segment Solutions and exceeding expectations of our host of clients.   You will lead digital resources who understand and deliver technology capability and solutions effectively through our HC Providers segment.  You will be responsible to work with our HC Providers segment to grow our Guidehouse brand and partnership, while working on HC Providers client ‘use cases’ and solutions that help promote the value of the practice to current and potential clients. Our Digital practice focuses on the front-end technology conversations with our clients, Cloud, Systems Modernization, Low Code/No Code, and Data,

Responsibilities Include having overall responsibility for Digital team HC Providers P&L including: Sales, staff, client delivery and profitability. 

As well as:

Client Relationships and Sales Pursuit support

  • Identify market priorities and provide insight to HC Providers sales and client service leadership with an understanding of competitor landscape in HC Providers IT
  • Partner with sales and client teams on account strategy and offering planning
  • Partner with sales and client teams to maintain, develop, and expand client relationships

Educating internal leaders and external clients on Guidehouse Services offerings and Capabilities

  • Identify and review opportunities and prioritize activities to optimize realization of pipeline
  • Participate in sales support as part of and/or leading a pursuit team
  • Articulate job requirements for resources needed, supporting Talent Acquisition and Fulfillment
  • Able to assist with initial project mobilization as needed
  • Support and coach HC Providers Consulting advisory and delivery team

Solution Architecture

  • Drive client solutioning for integration and digital sales pursuits in the practice area
  • Understand the business challenge and what the client wants to achieve and identify the value proposition and differentiators for Guidehouse
  • Work with the HC Providers Segment Leads to formulate the storyline and solution based on digital team expertise to address the client s problem
  • Oversee an agile but limited team of HC Providers ready technologist able to address key commercial HC Providers-based project work (dynamic in nature), support HC Providers Managed Services needs, as well as be able to deliver on larger, longer public HC Providers modernization programs

Building Brand

  • Drive thought leadership yourself and with your team by writing white papers sharing POV in Blogs, webinars, summits etc. and participating in industry conferences and forums
  • Develop practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials to be used internally and externally to educate and excite clients and guide and develop client service resources
  • Drive development of assets (e.g. tools, accelerators, etc.) and intellectual property (e.g. playbooks)  Ensure all client deliverables exceed expectations including: quality, staffed resources, and profitability of engagements.

What You Will Need:

  • Ideal candidates have consulting-relevant experience in the HC Providers technology (digital) practice area including: conducting structured analysis, program definition and management, and consultative, collaborative problem-solving.
  • 5+ yrs. with full P&L ownership leading a 25+ team technology professional services to year over year growth within larger matrixed consulting firm
  • Bachelor s degree required and a graduate degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience managing complex business relationships is preferred in HC Providers Technology Services ideally with a Big 4 consulting company
  • 15+ years of Technology domain experience, spanning people, process and technology with an eye toward business transformation
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts
  • Possesses aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications
  • Experience working with senior business partners and C-level clients identifying trends, communicating competitive actions, and presenting strategic implications in Technology for HC Providers related projects.
  • Ability to identify major technology trends in the Commercial and Public HC Providers industry and share point of view with clients in support of sales pursuits
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively along vertical and horizontal planes internally and in client organizations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience creating thought leadership and white papers and presenting in this area of expertise is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

The annual salary range for this position is $209,600.00-$524,100.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
