Your Role

As a Staff Workflow Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing change and development of workflow solutions and provide consultative advice and technology oversight to business stakeholder groups. To achieve this, you may expect to:

  • Design, develop and implement workflow solutions using Pega, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and optimised workflows.
  • Take responsibility for nominated technical assets related to areas of expertise including roadmaps and technical direction.
  • Mentor and up-skill other engineering teams across different squads.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and experience to assist in resolving technology issues

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior to Staff Workflow Engineer, with subject matter expertise in Pega.
  • Experience in designing and developing Pega and workflow applications.
  • Strong understanding of Pega PRPC and experience in building BPM solutions.
  • Cloud domain knowledge - AWS Certification / MS Azure Certification, Nice to have. 
  • Knowledge of Standard industry tools for CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with debugging and tuning performance issues.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate and document processes.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best-practice outcomes.
  • Well-developed stakeholder consultation and collaboration skills.

Technical Competencies:

  • Pega Certified CSA, CSSA or CLSA (essential).
  • Hands on DevOps experience (essential).
  • Cloud Platforms: Pega SaaS, AWS, Azure.
  • Power Platforms: Power Apps, Power Automate (preferred).
  • Data Management: SQL
