Senior Software Engineer - Test

Overview

Mastercard is looking for a brilliant, passionate and innovative Software Test Engineer. In this role, you will be a key member of a highly agile group driving hard to create innovative payment solutions. This position is for a Software Test Engineer who is passionate about their work and wants to have an immediate impact on a growing platform.

Role

In this role you will:
• Drive Quality/Test strategy creation, integration testing and functional testing.
• Review project test and implementation schedules with a focus on test plans and
acceptance criteria
• Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools and test suites
• Be an integral part of the engineering team, collaborating to embed
quality and testing standards as part of the development lifecycle
• Build test automation frameworks using industry standard tooling.
• Mentor & provide guidance to the team in testing methodologies

All About You

We are looking for someone with:
• Experience debugging and testing Java/JVM based products/applications
• Experience with current quality engineering and test automation tools and processes,
including JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter or comparable products
• Experience with test automation scripting (from scratch) with OOP languages using
frameworks like Selenium.
• Experience working with and testing web applications built on front-end technologies such
as JavaScript, Angular, jQuery.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate
with continuous integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover).
