Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Wealth Colleague Experience team supports TD's Wealth businesses. The team is responsible for enabling the evolution of TD Wealth and creating legendary Colleague Experiences through communications, colleague engagement, change management and events. Through strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the Bank, the Colleague Experience team brings leading class capabilities that bring to life the colleague promise across Wealth. The candidate will be collaborating directly with the different wealth lines of businesses, journeys and enterprise partners to evaluate and implement strategic priorities across the wealth suite of businesses (TD Asset Management, Financial Planning/Private Wealth Management and Direct Investing).

Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President Wealth Strategy & Business Enablement, the successful candidate will be accountable for binding all aspects of the Colleague Experience together across Wealth. This includes driving overall colleague experience strategy encompassing colleague engagement, communications, change management, learning and development and events.  This is a leadership role, and the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with senior leaders across TD Wealth and the Bank. 

  • Builds and champions the vision and path to Legendary Colleague experiences across TD Wealth. 
    • Develops and oversees a comprehensive colleague experience strategy for delivering the colleague promise throughout TD Wealth.
    • Stays informed on latest enterprise level strategies for all colleague experience areas.
    • Drives engagement and performance through appreciation and recognition programs. 
    • Drives forward the agenda for culture, diversity & inclusion through planned initiatives, events and communications.
    • Responsible for TD Wealth's learning strategy and execution in partnership with HR.
    • Responsible for TD Wealth's Early talent program working in partnership with HR and TD Insurance.

  • Builds and executes the strategy and standards for Communications for Colleagues
    • Responsible for TD Wealth's communication strategy, annual planning, standards, coordination and execution.
    • Responsible for capability identification and enablement for communications including leading practices in design, delivery, content, look and feel.
    • Responsible for TD Wealth intranet strategy and upkeep, including ensuring all information is owned, accurate and up to date.
    • Creates effective end-to-end communication strategies, from development to distribution of major projects across TD Wealth. 
    • Work with internal stakeholders and One TD Partners to design and implement impactful communications to support the vision and strategic direction of the business and support regulatory changes.

  • Own the strategic roadmap of colleague and client events and engagements.
    • Further the Wealth colleague experience by leading and supporting events and initiatives.
    • Responsible for event coordinating/managing the event strategy, planning and budgets.
    • Responsible for execution of events.

  • Owns and champions change management vision, strategy and execution for Wealth. 
    • Develops and oversee a comprehensive strategy for a consistent and legendary colleague experience for delivering change.
    • Provide thought leadership with functional leadership on change management including identification of cross wealth collision points and opportunities to maximize adoptions/colleague experience and minimize risk.

  • Key liaison with enterprise (e.g.., CAPA , change management, HR, Learning and Development, Enterprise R&R). 
  • Develops and executes talent strategies to attract, develop, motivate and retain diverse high-quality talent to deliver business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Very strong knowledge of colleague engagement, communications and change management.
  • Proven ability to bring in new ways of thinking and new capabilities from enterprise and industry/external businesses. 
  • Proven people management skills, with a strong ability to effectively lead diverse teams by development training, coaching and ongoing performance management.
  • Very strong presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate working with senior management at all levels.
  • Strong purposeful project management skills; well organized, with a high diligence.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and constantly changing circumstances in a challenging environment.
  • Works exceptionally well in cross-functional teams and is a champion of collaboration.
  • Can seamlessly engage colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees. 
  • Experience in designing of client and colleague experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry is an asset.
  • Toronto based.
