The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering corporate construction projects from design through closeout across a 13‑state PSC region. This role manages renovations, tenant improvements, and facility upgrades to support operational excellence and organizational growth.
Job Responsibilities
Planning
Collaborate with Global Real Estate teams to evaluate existing and new sites for renovations, maintenance, and tenant improvements.
Plan and deliver site enhancement projects across PSC facilities, including structural, mechanical, and interior improvements.
Oversee TI construction activities from design development through closeout.
Direct retrofit and upgrade projects to bring existing facilities up to current standards.
Maintain and incorporate current industry trends, Labcorp standards/guidelines, and methodologies related to construction and FF&E processes.
Prepare business justifications for capital and leasing improvements.
Project Delivery
Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope and budget.
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope throughout the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards.
Oversee quality control and compliance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to support successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define project scope, timelines, and cost of work.
Prepare and maintain project delivery updates and communicate project financial performance.
Operational Coordination
Issue RFPs/RFIs, negotiate contractors, and oversee contractors and consultants.
Prepare vendor setup in enterprise systems.
Track critical dates and obligations to support business requirements.
Coordinate proposals, work orders, and vendor services, and provide status updates.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years or more of experience in construction project management for retail, hospitality, or multi‑tenant facilities, including upfitting or renovation projects.
1 year or more of experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
2 years or more of experience writing business justifications for capital or leasing improvements.
2 years or more of experience managing construction vendors.
2 years or more of experience delivering projects from preconstruction/design through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree in Construction Management.
Professional accreditation in real estate, design, or project management (e.g., PMP, MCR, CCIM, RA).
Additional Job Standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Detail orientation with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Strong time management skills with commitment to meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to travel up to 50% (approximately 25% within 1–2 hours and 25% requiring longer travel).

Pay Range: $90,000-$130,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
