Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that the internal performance testing team has not been able to address. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of activities including understanding software development lifecycles and system architecture, conducting thorough performance testing and validation, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and identifying as well as resolving problems efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal system performance and reliability across various stages of the software lifecycle, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to maintain high standards of application responsiveness and stability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with development and operations teams to implement performance enhancements.
- Mentor junior team members to build their expertise in performance engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and tools.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- Experience in designing and executing performance test scripts to simulate real-world user scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning techniques for applications and infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts and their impact on performance engineering.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex performance issues across distributed systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- No location constraints
- A 15 years full time education is required.
